MMA has been growing in both popularity and fanfare. Mixed Martial Arts training is directed at gearing your physical techniques as if training for MMA. Our MMA classes are a mixture of Thai Boxing drills, wrestling takedowns and BJJ ground grappling techniques. The one difference from a regular BJJ class is the MMA is done without the gi, in a t-shirt and shorts or sweats. Although the MMA classes are intense, safety and correct techniques are a prime concern to make the classes applicable for the laymen student or advanced. Equipment used is shin pads to protect while at the same time training at an intense level.
