William Vandry & Carlos Machado Seminar - September 4th, 2010

this was an amazing seminar. guard passing is an art that is often overlooked,i think. you two taught new angles that i had not thought about, and i can see how it will immediately affect everyone's game. ninja stuff, i tell ya!!!

Yesterday I had a packed class in day and night. I spoke with each of our students, and I note that many times, there are financial difficulties, budgets and the like. I want to note that what we do different is the fact that we strive to have seminars for community, information, knowledge, and to understand you are part of a family and lineage. I want to say personally thank you to all of my awesome students that even the ones who are budgeting, dont ever think I dont appreciate your support, your loyalty and fellowship at my academy and association academies. Thank you all so very much for your support. I told everyone give me one million, ten million or a billion, I can never put a price on what I have with this wonderful part of my family.

This is gonna be awesome! How often do you get an opprotunity to work directly with a legend and a master craftsman. Mestre Carlos Machado is a legend in BJJ and is responsible for bringing such a high level of BJJ to Texas. Our instructor/mentor Professor William Vandry is a master craftsman, he is constantly developing new angles keeping us on the cutting edge of BJJ. One day when you are 70 years old you will be able to tell your grand children that you trained with these masters.

Can't wait see you Saturday.

I hope to see everyone at the seminar this weeekend. This promises to be an incredible seminar with Master Carlos whoses attention to detail is truly amazing. Since Professor William will also be teaching he as always will show new techniques and angles on the game, that only William could come up with!. SEE EVERYONE ON THE MAT!
